Strain distribution measurement of airplane wing
We embedded FBG sensors inside structural wing and measured 0.6mm resolved strain.
Case 2
Composite material tank pressure test
In a pressure test of a composite material tank (a barrel-shaped tank with a diameter of approximately 1 m and a length of approximately 2 m), an optical fiber strain sensor was installed at the position that supports the load, and the strain distribution was measured and evaluated with a spatial resolution of 1 mm.
